Out of the frying pan.

Today was a day of no lectures.
Instead I spent it at the secondary school I used to work at to earn a few pennies to add to the university fund.
It was a good day.
The kids were nice.
Some even remembered me.
And a few almost looked pleased to see me.
A slight frustration when it came to visiting the finance office to organise getting paid.
I`m not sure which finishing school the lovely lady working there went to.
But she couldn`t be described as either polite nor helpful.
Just as well i`m there to work with the students.
At least from them a certain degree of rudeness is to be expected.
Sad but true.

When my son arrived at school today he realised it was a mufty or non-uniform day.
He`s in full school uniform.
We live a 40 minute drive from school.
Fortunately his dad saved the day and zoomed to the nearest shop and picked up some appropriate attire.
